‘Learning about caring; caring about learning’
Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Dear Friends and Familes,
We hope your children have enjoyed returning to school as much as we have enjoyed having them back!
From Monday 20th September we will be resuming our 'normal' Breakfast Club provision from 8.15am. Doors will close at 8.30 am. All children who attend will be expected to have breakfast. Breakfast club is not child care provision. Whilst it the provision is open to all, Welsh Government's aim was to help improve the health and concentration of children and to assist in the raising of standards of learning and attainment for those who, for any reason, would not have a healthy breakfast that day. Therefore, if we are oversubscribed we may need to make difficult decisions against those criteria - or seek permission to employ additional staff to support a greater number of children.
At this time we are asking for applications for all children (of Reception age and above) who wish to attend, regardless of whether they have previously registered and attended. After half term- if we have spaces available - we will open up the application process to Nursery children.
Please use the attached electronic application form to apply for a Breakfast Club place for your child. You may either print off the form and return it to the school office or complete it electronically and email it back to school@millbrookprimary.co.uk
Kind regards/ Cofion Gorau
