Week: 21/09/20 - 25/09/20

Maths

This week in maths we are focusing on decimal numbers. Therefore, all pupils have been set decimals challenges on Mathletics for this week. If you are self isolating at home, this means that you are not missing out on the work that we are completing in class and if you are in school this is a great opportunity for you to practise the skills you have learnt at home.

Literacy

Next week, Maple will be starting a new book for our new topic. The book that we will start to read next week is Carrie's War by Nina Bawden. Pupils must use their research skills to find key facts about the book (Carrie's War) and the author (Nina Bawden). Pupils can then bring their notes into school on Monday so we can share in class. For pupils that are unable to attend due to self isolation, can you post your work onto google classroom and will include your information into the class discussion.
