Head teacher Challenge

Welcome to Mrs Watkins' Head teacher Challenge Page

This page will contain challenges for you to do on your own or with your family at home.

Just like Mrs Watkins' weekly assemblies in school there will be things for you to either draw, write about, think about or do.

The challenges are designed to bring us together and make you think.

The Butterfly and Leaf wishes and memories challenge

I need your help. We want to create a Memories and Wishes display in our school canteen to record our positive memories of Lockdown and our wishes for the future.

This week I would like everyone to draw or colour in the following:

1. A leaf - write on the leaf some words to share a memory of something you have enjoyed during Lockdown. For example, I've enjoyed spending time with my family.

2. A Butterfly - write a word representing your wish for the future on your butterfly. I have written safe on mine because I wish everyone to be safe.

There are some leaf and butterfly templates that you can download to help you but you can draw your own like I have too.

Take a picture and email your designs to your class teacher or post them on Twitter or in Google Classroom. You could even use Purple Mash to help you create your designs.

If you want to post your finished results to us that's fine too. Send them to:

Millbrook Primary School, Parrett Road, Bettws, Newport, NP20 7DQ.

I can't wait to see what you come up with. Thank you for helping me!

Love Mrs Watkins
