W/ C 21st September
Hi Everyone,
We have been busy looking at our topic ‘The Rabbit who Listened’ this week. We have been making rabbits out of playdough and talking about what we know about them.
If you are at home, have a go at drawing a picture of a rabbit or even make one out of playdough if you have some. Maybe you can talk to your grown-ups about Flopsy the rabbit? Can you tell your grown – up’s what rabbits eat and drink? Where do rabbits live? What does Flopsy look like?
This week’s task on Mathletics is to 'Count to 5'. Well done to everyone who had a go last week! I was super impressed. If you have completed this task, please feel free to encourage your child to have a go at another one. A new task is set on Mathletics every week. We will be showing the children how to long onto Mathletics this week to encourage independence when logging onto Mathletics.
Here is the login page:
Purple Mash passwords and logins went home with the children yesterday, there will be tasks set on here in the next few weeks. We will look at logging onto the Purple Mash website in class with the children in the coming weeks.
Here is the login page:
https://www.purplemash.com/login/
If you have any problems or have forgotten your login to Purple Mash or Mathletics please email me and I can give you your login again.
If you have any worries or concerns about anything please get in touch with us at Rachel.Walters@millbrookprimary.co.uk
It has been a lovely week with all children being in class together - we are having so much fun!
Our topic for this term is based around the book 'The Rabbit who Listened', and we have had a special visit this week by our furry friend Flopsy the Rabbit. We have all enjoyed having her with us and being able to pick and feed her some fresh grass! Flopsy has allowed us all to have lovely conversations discussing rabbits, as well as creating our own rabbit masterpieces through drawing and painting. If parents would like to have a discussion with their child about rabbits and pets for the children to come back and tell Miss Walters and Miss Dudley about, we would love it!
To add, here is some important information to update you all on:
