Arrival and Collection
In order that children are not at the Millbrook school site without supervision, they should not arrive before 8:30am.
Children will be able to access the Millbrook site to board the school coaches at 8:35am.
No child is allowed to leave school until the end of the school sessions unless collected by a parent or other responsible adult who is aged 14 years or over. Permission must be sought from the head teacher for this. Please note we require at least 24 hours notice for medical appointments.
If a court order is in place the school is and parents must abide by its terms. It is parents’ responsibility to keep us informed of any changes.
At the end of the school day, children will be collected from their respective coach. Parents/ carers will not be able to access the Millbrook site until all 5 coaches have arrived and are parked up safely.
Please remember, that older siblings will only be allowed to collect younger siblings if they are 14 years old or older.
We would also request that parents do not park near the school gates and ensure that they do not obstruct the driveway, the entrance to the Nursing Home or local residents driveways.
School Security - Brynglas Site
After 9:10am, all entrances to the school are locked and entry for late arrivals and visitors is only possible through the main entrance at the front of the school.
All visitors must announce their arrival on school premises by reporting to the main reception area at the front of the school, and sign in using the school's electronic signing in system if they are to remain on school premises for any length of time. A lanyard must be worn.
For safety reasons all doors can be easily opened from the inside.
School Security - Millbrook Site
Millbrook site is locked throughout the day.
Nursery site is also locked throughout the day. If your child is late, please contact the Nursery staff via the buzzer.
